MARLA F. JONES
Author/Illustrator
Marla F. Jones has authored four picture books and is currently illustrating her fifth. Marla uses a colorful mix of media, layering papers, fabrics and found objects, to create texture and dimension in her folk art style.
Jones wrote and illustrated Doodle and Peck and Let's Follow Them! She has illustrated two books for Susan York Meyers.

DAVID ROPER
Author
David L. Roper has been a professional writer for over twenty years, with dozens of adult books in print. As a children’s writer, he has had over fifty stories, poems, and articles published in Highlights and other children’s magazines.
Roper has written two books for Doodle and Peck Publishing:

SUSAN YORK MEYERS
Author
Susan York Meyers is an award-winning author, with two chapter books, two picture books, two young adult novels, and a book of poetry. She has also written a humorous inspirational book entitled Two Little Old Ladies. Susan worked in elementary school libraries for over twelve years and is familiar with both books and the children who check them out.

RAVEN HOWELL
Author
Raven Howell is an award-winning author and poet of eight picture books. She writes poetry for a variety of children’s magazines including Highlights and Cricket. Raven enjoys writing workshops, and serves as Creative & Publishing Advisor for RedClover Reader. A Flock of Fun is Howell's first book with D&P.

NANCY PYLE
Author
Nancy F. Pyle is a retired librarian who wrote her first picture book when she realized her granddaughter was already three, and Granny had not set a single stitch on the child's baby quilt. What kind of book does a three-year-old need? A counting book, and so Down on the Ranch was written.
SANDRA BYRD LAWSON
Author
Sandra Byrd Lawson grew up in rural Kentucky. As a little girl Lawson loved reading all types of books and exploring the hills and woods surrounding her home. She now lives in Oklahoma and has two books with Doodle and Peck:

ANOLA PICKETT
Author
A former teacher and school librarian, Anola Pickett is an experienced workshop and conference presenter. She especially enjoys speaking to students about the art and craft of writing and how to bring a story alive for the reader. Kate's Ocean is her first book with Doodle and Peck Publishing.
