Doodle and Peck prides ourselves on creating fun, educational books with oodles of "read-aloud-ability". We want our patrons to have no hesitation in leaving a Doodle and Peck title laying on the coffee table, or worrying if the content is appropriate for young ones to pick up and read. We try to create books that are entertaining and educational, not controversial.

Our books are printed in the United States. We like the idea of providing jobs for American printers.

At Doodle and Peck Publishing, we reuse lots of shipping materials such as cardboard boxes and bubble wrap for packing. We also are diligent to recycle paper, metals, glass, cardboard, and aluminum. We want to act in a responsible manner to do our part in keeping the Earth safe and clean for future generations.

No. Doodle and Peck Publishing is a traditional publisher. Our authors do not pay us, we pay them.

Not in the technical, educational sense. Many of our authors are former teachers and/or librarians. Our senior editor has a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. We are very cognizant of a book's developmental age appropriateness. Therefore, our books have suggested age and grade ranges.

A title's "read-aloud-ability" is very important to us. Librarians, teachers, and parents all love using our books for reading aloud.
